For a modern villa project in Korčula, we developed a comprehensive interior design concept with the aim of shaping a space that feels contemporary, calm, and natural, in harmony with the character of the location and the expectations of future users. The villa was conceived as an elegant and functional property intended for sale, with a focus on creating an atmosphere that, through light, openness, and carefully selected materials, conveys a sense of ease, comfort, and understated sophistication.

The design concept is based on a minimalist expression enriched with natural textures, organic forms, and the warmth of wood surfaces. Various types of wood are used not only as flooring, but also as a key spatial element in kitchen units, wall treatments, and details within bedrooms and bathrooms, where—combined with stone and glass—they create a balanced, bright, and visually refined environment. This approach allows the interior to feel both contemporary and timeless, with a clear sense of harmony and connection to the Mediterranean setting.

The particular value of this project lies in the way minimalism is interpreted without coldness or rigidity. Rather than relying on strong visual impact, the space is defined by soft transitions, natural light, carefully coordinated materials, and an atmosphere that is both calming and aesthetically elevated.
